For Hire Endorsement Program

Only DDS-certified driving schools are approved for Driver Education, Defensive Driving, and DUI programs. Before enrolling, verify the school’s certification on our website. Classes taken at uncertified schools will not be accepted for licensing, reinstatement, or court requirements.

For-Hire Drivers

Georgia limousine chauffeurs, taxicab drivers, and ride share drivers must have either a private background check certification through the limousine carrier, taxi service, or ride share network service that employs them OR a For-Hire endorsement on their Georgia Driver’s License. The For-hire license endorsement is valid for the term of the Driver’s License.

Application Process

Our goal is to complete processing of your application within 30 business days of receipt of the application and your fingerprint results.
