Alcohol and Drug Awareness Program (ADAP/eADAP)

ADAP, or Alcohol and Drug Awareness Program, is a mandatory course that Georgia teens under 18 must complete to obtain their Class D driver’s license, as required by law. Many teens will be able to satisfy this requirement through their high school. If you are unable to satisfy this requirement through your high school, please see the programs listed below.

eADAP for Teen Drivers

The Georgia Department of Driver Services (DDS) is excited to announce eADAP (a customer service initiative). Georgia teens that are unable to complete the Alcohol and Drug Awareness Program (ADAP) through their high school now have the option of completing the program online, 24/7/365! This is especially great news for Georgia teens that are home-schooled or were absent from school when the traditional ADAP course was offered.

ADAP for Parents

This registration option is for Parents/Guardians wishing to participate in the Parent ADAP course. The course is designed to provide parents or guardians with drug prevention strategies and legal accountability information. It can also help you teach your teen to drive responsibly.
