CDL Curriculum


Each CDL Training School must submit a curriculum that meets the training requirements in 49 CFR Part 380 and corresponds to the class of licenses and endorsements for which you are applying:

Copies of the following documents are also required:

  • Completed Download this xls file. Curriculum Matrix
  • Course Syllabus
  • All forms and handouts used by the school for training, including but not limited to:
    • Student Contract
    • Evaluation forms
    • Attendance forms
    • Student logs
    • School catalogs
    • Quizzes or tests, including answer keys
    • All other materials used in the class
    • All videos used in training or provided for student viewing, road routes and handouts must be embedded in the curriculum as a hyperlink for review

Curriculum material must exclude typos, misspelled words, grammatical errors, improper sentence structure, and inaccuracies.
