Third Party Examiner
THIRD PARTY EXAMINER
Third Party Examiners are specially licensed Driver Training Instructors approved by the Georgia Department of Driver Services to conduct testing at their employing Third Party Tester (TPT).
WHO CAN BECOME A THIRD PARTY EXAMINER
Any Driver Training School Instructor certified by DDS for at least two calendar years without non-compliance.
Individuals interested in becoming Third Party Examiners will be subjected to the following rules and regulations:
THIRD PARTY EXAMINER REQUIREMENTS
Driver Training Instructors must be certified by the Department for a minimum of two (2) years prior to applying to become a Third Party Examiner.
- Submit a TPT New Examiner Application.
- Complete a national and state fingerprint based criminal background check.
- Obtain and submit a certified Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) from each state in which they were licensed in the past 5 years except Georgia.
- DDS Third Party Tester and Examiner Agreement signed and initialed by the applicant and all program owners.
- DDS Third Party Examiner Affidavit completed and notarized.
- Complete and pass the DDS administered instructor training and examination.
HOW TO APPLY
- Register for your criminal background check through the Georgia Applicant Processing System.
- Please submit your application packet by mail, along with fees and all supporting documents to the following:
