The Georgia Motorcycle Safety Program (GMSP) provides motorcycle rider training classes to individuals of all levels.  The GMSP’s overall goal is to ensure that the riders taught by our Rider Coaches are equipped with the basic knowledge and skills that motorcyclists of any skill level should know through the curriculum provided by the Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF). The program also promotes motorcycle safety awareness throughout the state.

Note: You are not required to take a course to obtain a Class M license. If you would like to bypass the class, you may visit one of the DDS Customer Service Centers, and take the Motorcycle Knowledge Exam and schedule a Motorcycle Skills Test. You will need to provide your own insured bike, gear, and DOT approved helmet.
