Teen Driver Road Test Appointment
Walk-ins not accepted - you must schedule a road test appointment and meet requirements.

If under age 18:

You must satisfy all the requirements for getting a Class D License before scheduling your road test:
- See Class D Provisional License for documents needed at your visit. You must bring all documents listed under "Gather the required documents".
- No other minors, children or pets are allowed in the vehicle during the road test.
- Applicant must be accompanied by a licensed driver 21 years of age or older.
- Only the applicant and a licensed driver 21 years of age or older can be in the car during the road test.
Vehicle Requirements
- Bring a paper copy of the vehicle registration and current valid insurance card.
- If the vehicle is a rental car, please make sure the name of the person testing is on the rental agreement.
- If your vehicle has temporary tags or the vehicle was purchased within the past 30 days, you must provide a bill of sale.
- The vehicle must pass a safety inspection test by DDS before getting on the road.
NOTE: Testing can be suspended due to circumstances beyond the control of you or the examiner. This includes inclement weather and/or equipment failure.
