Skip a Return Trip - Send Your Real ID Documents Online, Fax or Mail

Were you recently issued a issued a temporary 120-day license? 

• You may fax, mail, or upload your missing "Proof of Residence" and/or "Proof of Social Security Number" documents.

Note: Customers who did not bring "Proof of Identity" or "Proof of Name Change" documents must return to a Customer Service Center.

• Proof of Residence - must include your name and street address dated within the last six (6) months. We recommend that confidential information be concealed. Such as account numbers and balances.
• Proof of Social Security Number - must include your name and full SSN. 
• Documents need to be sent at least 20 DAYS prior to the expiration of your temporary license
• To submit your documents online, make sure you have scanned or downloaded documents using the following formats: PDF, GIF, JPEG, BMP, TIFF.

A customer will need to log into their DDS online account, select "Submit proof of residency or social security".
