How Relying Parties Can Utilize the Digital Driver's License

1. Request Information

The relying party initiates a request for specific information (e.g., age verification for alcohol purchase). Using a secure reader or application, the relying party sends a request to the Digital Driver's License holder's smartphone. this request specified only the data required for the transaction, minimizing data sharing.

2. User Consent

The Digital Driver's License holder reviews the request and gants consent to share the requested information. The Digital Driver's License holder's smartphone displays the specific data being requested and requires explicit consent before any information is transmitted. This ensures transparency and control over personal data.

3. Secure Verification

The Digital Driver's License transmits the verified information to the relying party. The information is transmitted securely using encrypted channels. The relying party's system verifies the authenticity and integrity of the data, ensuring it has not been tampered with. This process significantly reduces the ruisk of fraud and identity theft.
