Securely add your digital license and ID to your Apple Wallet. The Georgia Digital License and ID is a free and optional service provided to eligible customers. In accordance with O.C.G.A & 40-5-29, all drivers must have his or her driver's license in his or her immediate possession at all times when operating a motor vehicle and law enforcement can require drivers to display their physical driver's licenses. Therefore, the Georgia Digital License is not a replacement for your physical card when you are driving a vehicle.

Physically handing over your driver's license or state ID is a thing of the past. Your information is presented digitally to the identity reader, so you never need to show or hand over your device.

If your Apple device is misplaced or lost, you can manage your driver’s license or state ID in your Apple Wallet with the Find My app in iCloud. From any web browser, on any device, log in to your iCloud account to delete your ID, pause it, and/or reactivate it once your device is recovered.

Presenting your ID at select TSA checkpoints just got easy. It is as simple as holding your device near the identity reader, confirming the information requested, and you're done.

*Available only in select states. Requires iPhone 8 or later with iOS 15.4 or later. Available on Apple Watch Series 4 or later with watchOS 8.4 or later. **ID cards in Apple Wallet are currently available for use in select states at select TSA checkpoints. Travelers should refer to checkpoint signage to confirm availability.
