1. How do I access the ADAP portal?
Go to the Department of Driver Services' (DDS) website. Select Regulated Programs. ADAP for Administrators will be under Quick Links.

2. How does an Administrator gain access to the ADAP portal?
ADAP Administrators are assigned by a school official. Administrators create student rosters and print certificates. Contact DDS at (678) 413-8745 or [email protected] to get started. An analyst will contact you with the necessary forms and instructions to assign an Administrator to your school.

3. How does an Instructor gain access to the ADAP portal?
ADAP Instructors must first be certified by DDS. Instructors are required to attend a training course at DDS headquarters or observe all sessions of an ADAP class at a school certified by DDS to teach ADAP. Class dates may be found on the Regulated Programs Training and Events on the DDS website. After training is complete, the necessary forms will be provided to grant instructor access to the portal.

4. Our school will begin teaching ADAP this year. How do we register?
Contact DDS at (678)413-8745 or [email protected] to get started. An analyst will contact you with the necessary forms and instructions to certify your school to teach ADAP.

5. Is there a video presentation used to teach the ADAP course?
Unfortunately, DDS does not offer a video presentation that can be used to teach ADAP. Teaching Supplies may be accessed from the Welcome screen of the ADAP portal. Additional teaching tools are available in the ADAP manual, including a Driver Ambition video and ADAP Crossword puzzle.

6. How does a school order ADAP manuals?
Manuals may be ordered from the Online Bookstore within the ADAP portal.
