The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) no longer accepts Temporary (Interim) Licenses and ID Cards as proof of identification. Interim driver’s licenses are temporary paper documents and are not currently an acceptable form of ID. If you plan to make changes to your license, please plan ahead. Your permanent license will be received within 30 days.
For more information on travel requirements, please refer to the TSA website.
