Mail Verification
DDS requires some additional verification before we can set up your Georgia Digital Driver's License or ID. A letter will be sent by mail to the current address we have on file. Please expect up to 14 days for delivery.
Once you receive your letter you must complete your registration using the following steps below.
- Visit: https://dds.drives.ga.gov
- Click "Create Account/Sign In" under card services and sign in or create an account if you do not already have one.
- Once signed in, click "Confirm" in the Mobile Driver License section and follow the instructions.
- Enter the code you received in your letter when prompted.
If you did not request the issuance of this Digital DL or ID, please sign in and click "Cancel" in the Mobile Driver License section instead. In addition please contact DDS at +1-678-413-8400.
If your letter has not arrived within 30 days:
- Please login or create a DDS Online Services account and submit a new request for your Georgia Digital Driver’s License or ID. Additionally, please contact DDS at +1-678-413-8400.
If you believe the address you have on file at DDS is incorrect:
- Please login or create a DDS Online Services account to view and change your address.
- Once you have verified your mailing address, you must submit a new request for your Georgia Digital Driver's License or ID.
- Use the information on your current card in the request, while you wait for your new card.
