CONYERS, GA--Georgia Department of Driver Services Commissioner (DDS) Spencer R. Moore and his executive team recently were honored to welcome to its Administrative Headquarters numerous delegates from the Insurance Association of China, as well as insurance representatives from several provinces in China.  Other guests from China included representatives from Times Information Technology Development and Genilex Information Technology.

“I am honored that this group choose to visit our Agency,” said Commissioner Moore. “China has become an important international economic development partner, and we were excited to exchange information about our respective driver licensing processes.”

The event was a joint collaboration between the Georgia DDS, LexisNexis, and its Chinese counterparts.  DDS provided the delegation with a complete overview of its operations, with a specific emphasis on how driver information is used by the automobile insurance industry in the United States.

The delegation was eager to exchange ideas with team members and participated in a roundtable discussion of several key DDS customer service projects aimed at increasing efficiency including a new Mobile Services App, DDS 2 Go, to be revealed in early 2018.  Of notable interest was the Agency’s Bulk Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) process including the statutory requirements, security and planned enhancements.
